Acris shields apps and websites you choose — on a schedule, after a daily limit, or for a stretch you start yourself. Getting in means a short breathing exercise first, and then a deliberate choice rather than a reflex.
It can also check in on you: after a long run of use it interrupts once, without blocking anything, so a scroll you did not decide to start does not continue unnoticed.
Acris uses Apple's Screen Time system, which is designed so the app doing the blocking never learns what you chose. The apps and websites you pick stay on your device — Acris cannot read them, and there is nothing to send anywhere.
This is self-management for adults. It is not monitoring, and it is not for watching anyone else.
